Smooth operation
The most durable high angle CV driveline you can buy
Developed using continuous duty industrial components
Thousands of units on the road.
The dimensions of the BAMF flange are the same as the Saginaw flange pattern. The only difference is that our holes are tapped with a 12mm thread, just like Ford uses.
If you have a Ford flange, we can sell you an aluminum bushing that will reduce the 3.125" pilot to the Ford 2.00".
Our 42 degree CV can be adapted to fit nearly any transfer case provided there is clearance.
The opposing universal joint must be 1350 series or larger.
It can be machined for tube sizes from 2.00" to 3.00".
We do not recommend using a BAMF driveline as a daily driver. Although it will perform at high RPMs, the life expectancy of the CV will be compromised. When we designed this unit, our intention was to solve extreme front driveline angle problems for rock crawlers.
There are thousands of BAMF drivelines in use today. Over the years failures have been few, and almost always due to grease starvation, either caused by poor angle setup, or continuous duty at high RPMs. Both situations produce heat, which is the killer of all moving parts.
We will admit that this CV will not cure all application problems. However, to our knowledge, it is the best product of its kind. For high RPM applications we recommend High Angle Driveline in Paradise, CA.
