It is always best to end up with a center of U-joint measurement, however, sometimes we can calculate from a seal measurement or a tip of output measurement. It depends upon the transmission. They are all different, and even the same models have variations that can complicate the process. Driveline measurements are absolutely critical within one eighth of an inch.... 0.125" !!
